Hello!

About me
My name is Anri, and I'm a full time student in Sustainable Development Management and Planning at the Sustainability Institute of the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa. I grew up on a citrus farm next to the Groot Letaba in Limpopo Province. I'm mostly vegan, but "cheat" with honey and yeast.

About my roommates
Katrin and Michelle are also students at Stellenbosch, and follow omnivorous and vegetarian diets, respectively. Katrin is a talented illustrator from Cape Town with mad plant identification skills. She has already discovered a carob tree near her house in Rondebosch, Cape Town, to contribute some wild regional sweet stuff to our diets. Michelle is a translator hailing from Canada who also bakes (constantly) and takes beautiful photographs that you can see on The Regional Buffet. She is also the designer of this blog. Lucky me!
